Success Of The Past
Over the last 20 years, Sage with its brands have defined most of accounting and business software requirements in Malaysia's SMEs. From our popular Sage UBS brand for the entry level market to the Sage ACCPAC brand for the mid-market and multi-national companies, the history has been truly enriching, a great big thank you; to all our customers.
The past is good but what is more important is the future. With the support of our over 500,000 users and even many more future customers we would like to move into the journey, the future of accounting and business software for all of us in Malaysia. You, the customer will be our partners in defining what this future might look like!
Defining the Future
It is a brave new world where it is borderless, where we can buy a ticket and fly to almost all corners of the earth, send instant messages across the globe and communicate via video conference, seeing each other continents apart. Indeed the world has changed and will continue to change at break-neck speed. We as businesses need to not only be a spectator but embrace this change. We are all passengers, the conductor and also the driver on this journey and we see our customers and future customers as important partners in thie journey.
Over the years, we have gathered a lot of experience in business automation and we do have many best practices in the industry built into our products for the consumption of the majority. We are seen and should play our role as the aggregator, bringing what would have been common technology for the larger companies and bringing it down to a standard product which is both functional and affordable for the SMEs.
Taking action!
Changes in business processes and how business is conducted is continuously evolving. Being the industry leader, we need to take the first step forward, and we have started the journey by embarking on a new product, Sage UBSplus which is now avaiable in the market. It incorparates and infuses the knowledge of the past with technology for the future. For example, it is probably one of the first business product that can be navigated via a touch screen, synchronizes with an iPhone App or an Android enabled device and even has a mobile license that allows you to check-in and check-out users. Indeed we are moving forward. Nevertheless, like a child, the product needs to grow up over time and mature as it incorporates all the experiences of the world.
